Module 6.2 Assignment

Primary Assignment: The planning process covers several components of adaptive management but not all.  The restoration planning document was built off a report template created by Joe Wheaton in google docs.  I have taken that template and added some sections that include the components that start to turn the restoration plan into an adaptive management plan for low-tech process-based restoration. The assignment for next class is for each person to expand the restoration plan you created in the planning course (or a project you may be working on) the components highlighted in green (the components in yellow are also sections you would want to include in an AM report).  This will include defining your fundamental objective (goal), and 3 means objectives. You will need to create a conceptual model as a figure similar to what has been presented (also an example in the google document) that houses your hypotheses as to how the restoration will achieve project goals and objectives. Write a maximum one page description of your conceptual model that explicitly states both expected (depicted in your figure) and alternative hypotheses (this may not be in your figure).    Create a table similar to table 2 in the Kern AMP for 3 objectives.
