Student Sustainability Grant funding is available to USU students for on-campus sustainability projects and programs. Each semester, the program receives up to $3 in student fees per USU student ($0.25/credit hour).
Students can apply for mini (<$1500) or large (>$1500) grants. Previously completed grant projects include small installations like water bottle fill stations and bike racks; interpretive projects like installing solar panels on the NEMHA art truck; and large projects like the Campus Farmers Market, the student permaculture garden, and the industrial composter.
In addition to being a great way for you to make an impact on campus, the Student Sustainability grants also provide excellent opportunities to practice grant writing, develop professional networks, and acquire funding for exceptional class projects.
