The Wilcock and Wheaton Foundation is interested in pursuing restoration projects in the Richards Hollow Watershed (a tributary to the Left Hand Fork, itself a tributary to the Blacksmith Fork River) that can improve instream and riparian habitat by bringing beaver back to the upper and middle watershed. However, prior to issuing a request for proposals for such restoration actions, they want to better understand the condition of Richards Hollow and what specific impairments might be limiting ecological functions there. They are specifically requesting proposals for an assessment of riparian condition and the potential use of beaver as a restoration agent in Richards Hollow Watershed. Proposals shall be submitted as a 2 page PDF. They request the following is included in the 2 pages:
- Name of Applicant/Company
- Start and Completion Date for Assessment
- Purpose of Assessment
- Proposed Methods of Assessment
- Proposed Cost
- References
Peer reviews of proposals shall be completed prior to class on Friday the 14th.
