Define your three conceptual designs (and a do nothing fourth alternative). Prepare a description - in words - of the key elements of each design.
Define no more than five objectives with associated metrics. This will take some careful thought. There are more than five project attributes in the CAP! You may find that you can define one objective/metric that can stand in for more than one project attribute. But you will also need to do some prioritization.
Enter this information into the MCDA spreadsheet Download MCDA spreadsheet - five objectives w metrics x three alternatives. Take a first crack at scoring the performance of the three designs and of the do-nothing alternative. Submit the spreadsheet Thursday night.
In class, you will explain your choice of objectives and design alternatives. As a group, we will discuss the performance scoring and then explore different stakeholder weightings.
