Draft Field Design Report - Progress

Prepare a summary of your field designs from the optional Saturday, March 21st field trip or as best you can from UAV imagery. You will hand in your final Design Report on the last week (see Written Design Report of Low-Tech Project). This will be critical for construction on Saturday!

For this draft of the report we expect you should minimally include:
- An update to your planning assessment based on field verification
- A map of reach locations and complex objectives (similar to Figure 6 from Chapter 5 of Design Manual Links to an external site.)
- A map of each complex in your design showing complex location with valley bottom, expected hydraulic zone of influence, and rough number and type of structures and overall complex objective (Similar to Figures 8 or 9 (w/o structure locations) from

- More detailed maps of the complexes in your assigned detailed reaches (e.g. Upper Top, Lower Top, Upper Bottom, Lower Bottom), which additionally shows specific locations of structures.
- A table summarizing intent of each complex (similar to Table 1 from Chapter 5 of Design Manual Links to an external site.)
- Schematics of the proposed structure types you intend to use in your design (feel free to make your own or just cite and use examples of standard construction schematics from Appendices D & E of Chapter 4 of Design Manual Links to an external site.)
- Narrative text to support above design elements
- Some annotated photos (see Station Creek Links to an external site. resources page for album and add your own)
After construction we will update your report to include:
- Tables of as-built for all structure locations
- Narrative to explain above and construction
